The GammaGuard application presents a user-friendly interface that facilitates quick access to vital information, enhancing the overall user experience. The application features four distinct views, each serving a specific purpose:

• Simple View: Offers essential details about the detector, including a visual gauge and the current dose rate.
• Details View: Provides comprehensive data such as counts received in the last second, current count/dose rate, total count/dose, total time, and overall count/dose rate for deeper insights.
• Interpret View: Displays critical figures like current and total count/dose rates alongside warning messages based on the selected mode.
• Graph View: Illustrates count/dose rate values over time through three graphs: Latest, Overall History, and Selected Interval. Users can select data points to view corresponding GPS coordinates and timestamps, which can be opened in the native maps app for further exploration.

The Latest graph shows the last 1200 data points, while the Overall History graph divides readings into 50 intervals to highlight minimum and maximum data points within each interval. The Selected Interval option enables users to analyze up to 1200 points centered around a specific moment in history.

The application offers two operational modes:

• Gamma Mode: Displays dosage information and utilizes the Interpret view to inform users about potential exposure durations before reaching routine and emergency dose limits. It also indicates the percentage of each limit that has been reached.
• Contamination Mode: Focuses on count data while utilizing the Interpret view to warn users when area contamination levels exceed established thresholds (available exclusively on contamination-capable detectors).

The GammaGuard application benefits from a uniform user interface across all CT007 series detectors, simplifying the learning process for users. Furthermore, it offers numerous customizable settings, allowing for a tailored experience, including options for units, warning alarms (for both iOS devices and detectors), data logging, and beyond.

The system proactively alerts users to elevated radiation levels by changing the navigation bar color from green to yellow to red in response to low, elevated, and high radiation levels. Notably, it can display radiation levels even when the CT007 detector is positioned up to 40 meters away from the smartphone.
